How quickly can I expect a response?
Our business hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm (NSW) for queries via Live Chat or email at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are unable to reach us, we will do our very best to help you as soon as possible. We aim to reply to all emails within 24 hours, but at busier times it may take us a little longer. If your enquiry is of an urgent nature, you can always call us on 0405 483 955.

Where do you deliver?
We deliver to all mainland Australia and Tasmanian addresses. At this stage, Baumé don’t deliver internationally but watch this space!

How long will it take to receive my package?
Depending on where you are located in Australia or Tasmania, delivery timeframes can range from 3 to 10 business days. You can find further information on delivery timeframes below.
What delivery options do you offer?
We deliver using receipted post, in most cases Fastway, our delivery partner. If you are not at home, a card will be left. If you prefer your parcel to be left somewhere specific or taken straight to the nearest post office, please leave instructions in the comments field on the checkout screen.
We endeavour to process and ship orders within 72 hours, if however for any reason we are unable to dispatch within this timeframe we will contact you and advise. You will receive an email advising you once your order has been dispatched. If your order is not received within 10 business days, please contact us urgently for investigation.
How can I track my package?
Upon submitting your order, you will receive an email which contains a link to your order providing a status in the first instance.
Once your order is ready for delivery, we will send you an email letting you know it has been dispatched from our warehouse. If you are located outside of Northern NSW and Fastway are delivering your order on behalf of Baumé, you will receive a Fastway tracking number and link. We will also send you a text if you have provided us with an Australian mobile number.
In some instances where you may reside in a Country location, Fastway may outsource to one of their Contract delivery partners.
For deliveries within Northern NSW, because these will mostly be hand delivered by Baumé, we will be in touch via email or phone to confirm your preferred delivery window where requested.
Who will deliver my package?
We deliver using receipted post, in most cases Fastway. For deliveries in Northern NSW, these will mostly be hand delivered by Baumé. Fastway may subcontract for regional locations through one of their Contractors. Your package will remain trackable regardless of carrier.
Do Baumé deliver internationally?
At this stage, Baumé does not deliver internationally but do watch this space! We won’t be able to keep this a secret for long!
Can I amend my order after it has been placed?
We will always do our best to cater for any amendments. Please contact email@example.com as soon as you know you’d like to make a change and we will try to accommodate your request. However, depending on how close to completion / dispatch your order is, it might not always be possible. Refer below Returns and Refunds policy.
What happens if I am not at home when my package is delivered?
If you’re not in when we try or Fastway try to deliver, a calling card will be left to let you know we tried to make a delivery. The card will explain how you can re-arrange delivery for a more convenient day either directly with Baumé or Fastway (depending on where you are located).
If you think there’s a chance you might be out on the day of delivery then you can always specify instructions – either a safe place for us to leave your order, or a neighbour with whom to leave it at checkout.
What happens if my order doesn’t arrive when you said it would?
On the off-chance your order hasn’t arrived when you expected it, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will resolve the issue as quickly as we can for you.
What happens if I receive a damaged package?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact email@example.com immediately.
We’ll arrange for the damaged order to be collected and a replacement order sent out as quickly as we can.
How can I place an order with you?
You can purchase wines, hampers, accessories and even ticketed events via this Store.
For private event bookings, please contact Paul at Baumé and he will work with you to tailor your event that will leave a lasting (and informative) memory.
Which wines should I purchase?
We pride ourselves on being soo much more than the ’sale’. Whether you have a question about a wine we currently offer or wish to hunt down that wine you had at a restaurant last weekend, we are here for you.
If you prefer to browse online at your leisure, then please take advantage of our fast and intuitive search function and filtering so you can find exactly what you are looking for. Please note that all wines are subject to vintage changes.
We accept all major debit and credit cards. If you’d like to check a particular card, or are having trouble making payment, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Card details are securely encrypted and forwarded to us via the Shopify Payment Gateway. Your credit card details are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
Once the order is finalised the card will be processed. We delete card details after your order has been finalised as an extra security measure. If you do not have a credit card or are unable to use PayPal, please contact us to arrange an alternative payment method.
Orders placed outside office hours will be processed the next working day.
We cannot accept change of mind returns or refunds for wine or food products - so please make your purchase choices carefully. In the event of receiving damaged, faulty, or incorrect goods, pleasecontact us within 24 hours of receipt of your order, for a replacement or full refund including shipping.
We will always do our best to cater for any amendments. Please contact email@example.com as soon as you know you’d like to make a change and we will try to accommodate your request. However, depending on how close to completion / dispatch your order is, it might not always be possible.
If you are specifying where you would like your wine delivery to be left, please make sure it’s in a reasonably cool, dry, sheltered environment. The same applies for when you unpack your wines. Correct storage will most certainly make a difference.
We don’t like to ship wines in temperatures in excess of 33 degrees celsius. We would prefer to hold your order in the cool of the warehouse until the temperature drops.We will notify you if we feel it’s too hot to send but if this is not an issue for you, you can tell us then and there.
Some of our wines need to stretch their legs a little before you dive into them. We have made recommendations on decanting each of the wines we offer, refer to the ‘Tech Notes’ within the description of each wine.
Decanting helps most wines, even whites believe it or not but generally the richer more full-bodied varieties such as Chardonnay, Viognier and a rich Chenin Blanc. Powerful young reds are decanted to open them up and to make them more approachable. Very old reds are decanted to filter out the sediment and to give the wine a good breath. Be careful with the length of time you decant the old reds for, they are generally pretty fragile and can deteriorate very quickly so once decanted, get sipping.
How can I update my account details?
Once you are logged into your account, you can update any of your details including your password, email address, wine preferences and delivery address. If you cannot access your account, please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org we will get back to you as soon as practically possible. Your time is precious (and so are our wines!)

We call this ‘The Weekenders’: 4 handpicked wines by Baumé (or 5 for those longer months, we always are true to our word).
We will select premium wines for you every month, one special bottle for every weekend of the month that you can relax with and savour after a busy week or drink over dinner with your better half, family or special friends.

We will go in search of rare and back vintage wines for you as part of our Wine Concierge service. We thrive on challenges, particularly in the wine sense.
In addition to tracking down rare and back vintage wines, we can perform the same service for any wine you are searching for (for wines at the cost of $29 and above). Do you run private events?
We have hosted numerous private in-home wine tastings and wine pairings at dinner parties, corporate events and special occasions over the years. Whether you are a wine buff or novice, one of the Baumé team will guide you through an informative yet fun experience in the comfort of your own home, pre-organised venue or place of work.
We can also curate a wine tasting to your requirements, from a business meeting or lunch through to a birthday, wedding or anniversary celebration providing you with a bespoke and memorable experience.
