OUR STORY

Baumé Fine Wines ("bo-may") is owned and operated by Paul and Natalie Manthey, based in the NSW Northern Rivers region.

Bringing together our passion and knowledge for premium wines, regions and their producers, and our ability to translate them into accessible and compelling stories, we are proud to increasingly be the 'go to' for corporate tasting events, in-home masterclasses and our popular wine concierge service for busy and discerning professionals.

Our unique and concise wine offering is continuously evolving, much like the services which we provide. Our constant however, is the attention to detail and the exemplary service which we strive to deliver to each and every client.

THE JOURNEY

Paul’s wine journey began in South Africa when he hit the legal age to drink (although prior to this, Nonna used to feed him thimbles of vino while she cooked the old Italian classics!).

He’s worked with some of the Australia’s top restaurants and hotels and his talent was recognised at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa when his Wine List received two glasses in the 2012 Gourmet Traveller Wine List Of The Year Awards.
