86% Chenin Blanc and 14% Semillon. Intensely flavoured; ripe pear, honey and limey citrus come to mind. There are herbal notes too, spearmint and lime leaf, the natural acid is incredible and pierces right through to the incredibly long finish. Incredibly good match with pan seared scallops.

"In a nutshell, our aim is to vinify extraordinary Cape vineyards. In doing this, we hope to find the voice of the land. That voice may be a choir of amazing blocks blended into one bottle, or it may be the purity and beauty of a single vineyard soloist. We believe that fine wine is grown, rather than made. In our cellar, a vineyard is allowed to become a wine without interference. We aim to make wines that have a fine form and are not bulky. Nobody likes to fight their way through a massively rich, boozy, flabby, beast of a wine. We hope to make wines that have ample power, but no excess weight - something akin to a gymnast, rather than a sumo wrestler."
