100% Chardonnay sourced from their own vineyards in Mesnil sur Oger, Vindey and Montgueux.The style is extra brut (5g dosage) so it is bone dry and spends 6 years ageing on lees. This is outstanding Champagne for the price. It really does express the distinc qualities of the terroir from which the grapes hail from. Elegant and racy with citrus, apple and pear aromas rounded out by hazelnut and toast from the long lees ageing with a delightfully full and creamy mouthfeel. Drink with oysters and caviar or fritto misto drizzled with fresh lemon.

  • Avize, Champagne

    The Gonet family have been growing grapes and producing wine in Avize (Côtes des Blancs) since 1802. They typically grow predominantly Chardonnay (80%) with a small amount of Pinot Noir (20%). Their wine is only produced from fruit that comes off their own vineyards which total around 40 hectares across the Côtes des Blancs, Sezannai, Montgueux and the Aube.
