A consistently good little Pinot Gris. It spends a short time on skins which gives it an almost pinky colour and lovely bit of texture. The palate also shows white peach, pear and lemon.
Match with oily fish, chicken salad or honey ham.

Logan Wines was started by Peter Logan and his late father Malcolm Logan in 1997. Peter, who first tried his hand at a music career, jumped into the wine making industry nearly 2 decades ago and has never looked back. The winery and tasting room are situated on the Mudgee vineyard, but the best wines are all made from grapes grown in the Orange region. The Logans produce wines under four labels – the eponymous and premium Logan range, Weemala – the champion of rarer varietals and styles, the well-priced Apple Tree Flat range that allows a little Logan indulgence every day, and Ridge of Tears, which heroes the best shiraz from each region.
Winemaker Peter Logan’s winemaking style is inspired by his love of the character of rich fruity Australian wines, and the balance and structure of Old World wines. His winemaking philosophy represents a hybrid of these two styles – wines that ooze Australian fresh fruit flavours whilst embodying European-style, balance and finesse.
