The estate takes its name from the Croix du Pas Saint Martin, a small stone building built on the edge of the wood. It was the Middle Ages, the last stop for the pilgrims of Saint Jacques de Compostela, before the arrival in the Marian city of Puy Notre Dame. The Charrier-Massoteau family cultivates their 16 hectares of vines, according to a mode of biological culture. This approach has been certified by Ecocert since 1997. "The desire that drives us throughout the year, is to produce authentic wines, digest, closer to nature; wines that speak to us."
